Bonnie Thurston

Bonnie Jean Thurston, 75, of Glen Burnie, passed away on September 18, 2016. Bonnie was born in Parsons, West Virginia on October 23, 1940, to the late Frances and Okey Nestor. She was a homemaker and was a member of Glen Burnie Lighthouse Church. Bonnie was a voracious reader and enjoyed watching the news.

Bonnie is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Norman L. Thurston, Sr.; her beloved children, Frances Ford, Thomas Kronawetter, Roger Kronawetter, and Norman Thurston, Jr.; her loving grandchildren, Lenny Ford, Ryan Ford, Anna Ford, Abigail Thurston, Lauren Thurston, and Olivia Thurston; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Gavin Ford, and James Michaels; and her dear siblings, Estelle Smith and Lewis Nestor.

Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Thursday, September 22nd, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, September 23rd, at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Bonnie's name may be made to Lighthouse Church in Glen Burnie, 120 Langley Road North, Glen Burnie, MD 21060 (www.lighthouse.church ).
