Betty Putman

Betty Walker Putman, 79, of Bethesda passed away on July 21, 2012 at Harbor Hospital. Betty was born in 1932 in Birmingham, Alabama. Ms. Putman was an awesome stay-at-home mother to her two children. She was second runner-up in the Miss Alabama pageant in 1951. She is survived by two children, Susan Sexton, and John Putman and wife Jackie; two grandchildren, Chance Sexton and Madelyn Putman; one great-grandchild, Neveah Sexton; niece, Paula Clements and husband Bruce; and two nephews, Ralph Cline and Tommy Cline and wife Jodi. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Harbor View Cancer Center, 3001 S. Hanover Street, Baltimore, MD 21225 (410-350-3386).
