Audrey Inez Eckert, 92, of Glen Burnie, passed away on July 19, 2013. She was born on September 15, 1920 in Baltimore, MD to the late Estelle and August Klingebiel. Audrey enjoyed family gatherings, decorating, camping, crocheting, cooking and visiting Ocean City.
Audrey was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 75 years, Maurice Leroy Eckert. She is survived by her beloved children, LaVern Gipprich and her husband John, Donald Eckert and his wife Susan, and Bonnie Hiss and her husband Jack. She was a devoted grandmother to her eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Audrey's name may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake Mandrin Hospice House, 3675 Solomons Island Rd, Harwood, MD 20776.
