Amelia Hobbs

December 21, 1934 — December 6, 2014

Amelia W. Hobbs, 79, of Ferndale, MD, passed away on December 6, 2014. She was born in Baltimore to the late Carmela and William Wigger and was a member of the Edelweiss Club, German Society, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the German Society. She enjoyed baking, cooking, gardening, and sewing.

Amelia is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, Frank B. Hobbs, Jr.; her beloved children, Frank B. Hobbs III, Diane M. Hobbs-Mills, and Kathleen M. Formosa; and her cherished grandchildren, Joshua, Ryan, Justin, Lauren, and Carmela. Amelia was predeceased by her siblings, Phyllis Ashton and Lamar Wigger.
